In Memory of Rollie Denker III
Rollie Denker lll was a resident of Springfield Township, 1979 graduate of Springfield High School. He passed of a heart attack in October 2004. Rollie left behind two young children, wonderful family and many friends. Donations made to Rollie Denker Scholorship Fund.
2020 Sponsorships
It is that time again for the 16th annual "Rollie Run" in memory of Rollie Denker III. With the current situation we are preparing a little different for it but have decided to work hard to still make it happen to celebrate Rollie while honoring his children & family by offering scholarships in Rollies memory to seniors!
Major Sponsor: minimum donation of $200 (or goods/services)
Blue Devil Sponsor: a minimum donation of $150
We will advertise, provide posters, pictures, website, etc. If you choose to be a sponsor your name will appear on the well-known "Rollie Run T-Shirts." Your business will also have the opportunity to provide coupons/flyers to go in the bags that go to each person that registers for the event.
The community walk/run will take place June 20th through June 28th 2020. We will be asking small groups, teams and families to take some time for a walk or run together to be a part of the 2020 ROLLIE RUN!
In the past 15 years we have given 57 scholarships to Springfield High School graduating students that are interested in going into the medical field (Rollie was a nurse at Toledo Hospital). We have also made donations in memory of Rollie to the American Heart Association for ongoing research causing heart disease, donations to the Rollie Denker III Children's education fund as well as the Aly Courville fund.
